Has anyone had a birthday present show up early? I have not followed my birthdates very closely except the oldest, so I know exactly when it is. What's weird is that it showed up 3 weeks early last year.

Has anyone paid close enough attention to notice this happen?

btw, it was Christmas time. not implying I got it before they released.

I would not have posted this unless I was absolutely sure of what happened. The only thing I can think of is that another account that's linked to this one had a birthday on Christmas. But they got their gift the same day I did. Even though I know I didn't make the char until 3 weeks later. I know this because my hubby harassed me for that long until I decided to play.

I noticed something like this too. My warrior (2nd character i created) got his bday gift 4 days before my ranger (1st char created). I don't know the exact day on which i created the account, but i know for a fact the order of which characters i created. Oddly enough, the warrior got a gold mini, and the ranger got a white one.

I have a theory "probably wrong" that they do them in batches so some will be a little early some late.

I base that on never having had a birthday mini on my actual birthday in fact it usually comes late in the correct month or early the month following.

yes, i did /age and it showed 60 months. I guess it just rounded down.

Note that Guild Wars counts years as being 365 days long. Thus leap years will gradually mess up the count by a few days.

Never seen anything like the OP is claiming though.

I have had several toons on all four accounts get thier presents on different days over the last three years that I have been tracking it. The presents have always been three days of the actual date for those toons that I recorded thier birthdates.

My Monk got one a week (maybe a little more) early. I'm sure of this because I distinctly recall making it on the day NF started.

ANet is like the crappy dad that still tries a bit so he still forgets your birthday but makes up for it in advance so he can forget it when the day actually comes.
